aēralab is developed and commercialised by Labrints, the Belgium-based company created by World Latte Art Champion Peter Hernou. Labrints focuses on advanced beverage solutions for baristas, the hospitality industry and coffee chains. The company was co-founded in 2018 with Flexpack (member of NEKTARI). Flexpack focuses on machine and process handling, offering services to the food and pharmaceutical industry. It also aims to improve individual coaching and guidance of people with disabilities or those experiencing barriers to access the regular employment market – thriving on a sustainable and people-centric working culture.
For aēralab, Labrints has partnered with Spanish coffee machine manufacturer IBERITAL, which has an outstanding and longstanding reputation in the coffee industry, award-winning design-agency ACID (Spain), and reputed nanotech companies in Belgium and Taiwan for the development of smart sensors and intelligence.
